So, The Button Bouquets were causing me frustration...after reading several blogs of 'how to make a button bouquet' and watching various tutorials on youtube none of these other crafters explained how fiddly and awkward it can be to bring your bunches together...making them not too big (and heavy) that the buttons droop un-attractively showing exposed wire, and not so small that they don't hide the plastic holder they sit in.
So in a midst of frustration and enragement a couple of days ago while trying to pull the bunches toger I very much so lost my temper with them and ended up with a heap of tagled and messed up buttons and paper flowers.
Any-hoo, today I re-visited my bundles of mixed up button and flower stalks, sorting them out into colous and sizes, I took me hours to pull them together how I wanted them, pain-stakingly adding one flower then one button stalk at a time, and here are the results so far...I need to go and invest in more ribbon so i can wrap up the stems and make them look a little more attractive, but I think I have more or less got them how I want them.

With this success of constructing my buttonholes and bouquets I carried on to the table decorations...I had already made enough button and paper flower stems to include some in the centrepeices and I have been dilligantely rummaging through second hand and charity shops in search of teacups and saucers, as well as collecting lace and glass Coca Cola bottles.
